Some great memories from one of our five day Intro to Mountaineering trips, this awesome group of young women had a blast playing in the Chilkat mountains outside of Haines AK, we covered basic snowy terrain travel, preliminary experience traveling in rope teams, self arrest, and lots of glisSLAYING (glissading) as well as building snow forts and having mountain top dance parties, of course. Sign up for a trip with us next spring or summer. #travel #alaska #travelalaska #mountains #climbing #glaciers #chilkat #haines #hainesalaska #baldeagles #summer #mountaineering #backcountry #womensupportingwomen #womeninnature taken in Haines, Alaska by @_alaskamountainguides_
