On December 31st 2025, our 10 year anniversary, Chasz and I finally signed the papers!
Maybe not the big wedding just yet, but we couldn’t imagine a more meaningful day to officially become husband and wife. So grateful for everyone who’s loved and supported us through it all, and to our folks and siblings for being present on the day of 🤍

2/2 Yet another day off spent lost in photo edits 🌿 Can’t believe it’s been nearly a year since our India trip. Reminiscing on wandering through Dharamshala: gazing at the Himalayas, visiting the Dalai Lama’s home and the Tibetan Government in Exile. Then tracing the edges of the Ganges in Varanasi with my too-adventurous family. November 2nd 1934- March 23rd 2025

-Baba ji was one of my favourite people. He was so strong, yet kind and gentle, he was quiet and humble, yet such a jokester. For the entire time I have known my sweet sweet Baba ji he never did anything for himself, it was always for us. For his children, for his grandchildren. His whole life was such an expression of love and no longer having him in the physical form truly feels impossible.

A man who didn’t care for material things, where life’s simple pleasures would cause him to smile and light up our home with his glimmery eyes. A man who lived a stunning life, independent and strong. At 90 years old, he remained the glue that kept our home together. People as beautiful as him are rare.

As my sister stated, “every good thing in life is because of him. The lessons he has taught me are timeless and woven into the very skin i am in. There is no before or after Baba ji, for he is a constant hymn that rings throughout eternity..”

He will occupy an immense space in my heart, and though I feel such an emptiness in his absence, that void is a testament to the profound impact he has had on my life. His influence, his spirit, and the inspiration he brought will remain with us forever and always. I love you my sweet Baba ji. by @_alishasimran_
