Last night, @marissahermer and I hosted a dinner with @veronicabeard at the dreamy @chezmiala to celebrate our Palisades community and the ongoing commitment to rebuilding LA. It was a night to thank the people who showed up when our city needed it most. After the devastating LA fires in January, we started Pali Moms for Recovery—(Cat, Carrie, Krystyna, Lauren, Natasha, Rachelle) just a few local moms texting, trying to figure out how we could help. It quickly became a way to connect families who had lost everything with people and resources from all over the country who were ready to support them. Our mission was simple—to support families by gathering essentials and offering emotional and practical help as they began to rebuild. The outpouring of support was incredible. Hundreds of brands donated. Volunteers stepped up. Friends reached out asking how they could help. It was all of you who made it possible. One brand that went above and beyond was @veronicabeard and @allisonaston—they donated thousands of pieces of clothing with urgency, care, and heart. Their generosity left a real impact on families and on all of us. @marissahermer, through her restaurant @chezmiala helped ensure no one went hungry—organizing, cooking, and delivering meals to displaced families. Those were just the first steps to rebuild, restore hope, and support one another in the wake of devastation. Thank you to everyone who gave, showed up, and continues to be a part of this recovery. ❤️💕☀️🌸 #palistrong @palimomsforrecovery taken in Chez Mia by @_allisonwise

A big thank you to Variety and The Wrap who ran a few words of gratitude on our behalf to the many brands and individuals who selflessly donated their time and goods to our community. We are eternally grateful. And we couldn’t have done it without the countless volunteers, drivers, self appointed store manager @amandaofla or our NY and BK friends- love you all!❤️ @aerin @anthropologie @greggrenfrew @centric_brands @cledepeaubeauteus @cotebeautyofficial @criquetshirts @cymbiotika @dl1961denim @emijayinc @emmeparsons @frame @frankiesonthepark @gabrielahearst @gigi.caruso @gforce_official @goop @gwynethpaltrow @gucciwestman @guess @jennikayne @jgamenyc @joesjeans @kiltecollection @kongessloejd @lancerskincare @larroude @lauriefelt @lasirenatequila @shoplazypants @leftonfriday @livingbeautyorg @maisonmerenor @loveshackfancy @lumila_______ @majesticfilatures @elementaldiet @melindamaria_jewelry @minnow @missbehavecutie @molly.j.life @modaoperandi @thelsd @aprilhennig @missjenco @motherdenim @olehenriksen @paige @petiteplume @poppy.stores @rachelmiriamla @ragandbone @meridethbeare @rivetutility @drsarmelasunder @sprwmnofficial @summerfridays @thirteenlune @toryburch @toteme @varley @volcom @veronicabeard @wilson by @_allisonwise
