Half Marathon #2

This race meant so much more than just another half marathon. On April 30th, I found out my mom had a couple brain tumors, and a few days later found out May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month.

Going into this race, I stopped focusing on time goals and just wanted to enjoy running. Even though my biggest cheerleader couldn’t be there, I knew she’d want me doing the things I am passionate about.

Through all the unknowns, God has been walking alongside my mom and our family every step of the way and I know my mom can get through anything hard that comes her way. TYJ for strength, support, and the ability to do hard things. taken in Sioux Falls Skedaddle Half Marathon by @_allyiverson_
