She works full time. She has two girls under 5. And she still showed up for herself. đŸ‘đŸœđŸ€

I’ve been working with this beauty for years, even before she had her babies. So when she came back to me postpartum, I knew exactly what she was capable of.

Her life looked a lot different now though. She didn’t have a perfect schedule or the same flexibility she had before her babies. She didn’t always have the energy, and her body felt a lot more foreign to her now. But she found a way to get to the gym anyway and made it work. đŸ’ȘđŸœ

In her first 3 months of training postpartum she:
✅ Started to rebuild her strength
✅ Got her energy back
✅ Hit the gym consistently around work and her girls
✅ Fell back in love with her body

And a year later she was back to feeling confident in her skin and ready to show off her hard work. đŸ‘™â˜€ïž

My 1:1 coaching programs are built for women exactly like her. Busy moms who are DONE putting themselves last.

đŸ€ MY SECOND POST PARTUM FITNESS JOURNEY đŸ€

If there’s one piece of advice I could give to my Mamas out there, it’s this: it’s okay to go at your own pace đŸ«¶đŸœ There’s no deadline for “bouncing back.” With my first post partum experience it took me over two years to look, and even longer, to feel like myself again. We’re all different and the same goes for our journeys in motherhood. Focus on feeling strong and healthy, not on rushing the physical process, because every little effort that you make counts. A 10-minute workout, a walk with the stroller, or stretching while your baby naps—it all adds up.

Sometimes we get so caught up on trying to return to who we were pre-baby, but the reality is that we’re no longer that version of ourselves; we’re so much better. And even if it doesn’t feel like that right now, no matter where you are in your post partum journey, I promise you will find yourself again and learn to love this beautiful new version of you.

And remember that the way you talk to yourself matters. Replace “I can’t” with “I’m trying.” Don’t compare where you are today to anyone else, because your yesterday, also only belongs to you. The road you’ve travelled, the setbacks, the detours; only YOU have experienced life the way you have. So give yourself the grace and patience that you deserve while you navigate this journey, because post partum isn’t a sprint, it’s a lifelong marathon requiring steady steps toward healing and strength.

Perfection isn’t the goal—progress is, and every small step is a victory. Your journey is uniquely yours, and every effort you make is worth it Mama; Keep going âœšđŸ€

So I didn’t get my abs back after two pregnancies by being perfect, and I definitely didn’t do it by tracking every single macro. That for sure works for a lot of people, but it just wasn’t the right approach for me.

After two babies, I needed something that actually fit my life—not something that added more stress to it. So I just simplified everything.

I focused on eating enough (especially protein), training with intention and purpose, staying consistent with a routine that worked for me, and honestly just taking care of my body better (drinking more water than I could even keep track of).

Nothing extreme. Nothing super complicated. Just habits that I could actually stick to. And that’s when things finally started to change for me.

If you feel like you have to track everything perfectly to see results
you don’t. But you do need a plan that makes sense for you.

If you want help building that,
DM me PLAN and I’ll walk you through it đŸ€ by @_alysonmichelle

Life really is too short to keep waiting for the “right time.”

Post the photo. Wear the outfit. Book the trip. Start the thing you’ve been putting off. Say yes to the things that light you up and no to the things that drain you.

I know as moms it’s so easy to spend our lives taking care of everyone else that we forget we’re allowed to enjoy our own too. But your life isn’t meant to be lived on pause.

Go make the memories, take risks that scare you, love yourself a little better. And don’t forget to live this life of yours, and not just exist in it. đŸ€ by @_alysonmichelle

Somewhere along the way, we started giving moms a lot of rules.

Be everything for everyone.
Never complain.
Put yourself last.
Bounce back quick.

And I just don’t think moms need to feel even more overwhelmed or guilty than they already do.

You deserve to take care of yourself, have hard days, and still be an amazing mom—because you are!

If one of these slides made you feel seen sis, that’s exactly why I shared it. đŸ«¶đŸœđŸ€ by @_alysonmichelle

I know that there is so much information out there and it can get really overwhelming, but pleaseeee stop listening to the following:

EATING LESS IS ALWAYS THE ANSWER.
Your body needs fuel okay? The days of starving yourself, need to be left in your 20s sis. Especially if you’re trying to build muscle, have energy for your family, and actually feel good both inside and out.

YOU NEED TO SPEND HOURS DOING CARDIO.
Walking, strength training, and staying consistent will get you so much further than trying to “burn off” everything you eat.

THE SCALE MOVING IS THE ONLY SIGN OF PROGRESS.
Maybe you’re sleeping better. Maybe you’re lifting heavier than you were a few months ago. Maybe your clothes fit differently. Maybe you can actually walk 20 minutes without feeling winded. Every single one of those wins, matter.

IT’S TOO LATE aka YOU’RE TOO OLD.
It’s most certainly NOT. And you are definitely not old once you exit your 20s 🙄. You just need an approach that supports this season of YOUR life.

I know it’s easy to get caught up in all the advice online. Every day there’s a new trend, a new diet, or someone telling you there’s one “right” way to lose weight.

But the women I see making the most progress are the ones who keep things simple. They focus on building strength, drinking their water, moving daily, fueling their bodies properly and showing up consistently.

So if no one has reminded you lately sis, your body is still capable of amazing things! So just keep going đŸ€ by @_alysonmichelle

If you see a mom choosing herself again, cheer her on.
Because so many of us lose pieces of ourselves in the beautiful, all-consuming season of raising our babies. We pour into everyone else for so long that we forget we’re allowed to have goals, passions, and dreams too.

Choosing yourself doesn’t mean you’re any less of a mom. It just means that you’re filling your own cup so you can keep showing up as the mom you want to be.

So whether that’s working out, building a business, reading a book, meeting a girlfriend for coffee, or just taking an hour to yourself
please don’t feel guilty for it. Because while you’re an extraordinary, do-it-all, super mama—you’re also just a girl, experiencing this life for the first time too.đŸ€ by @_alysonmichelle

I know it can seem easier to jump on the latest diet trend, try whatever 6-week challenge is going around, or do what all the fitness inspo girlies are doing—when you’re trying to reach your weight loss goals.

But if you’re only focused on losing the weight as fast as possible, without learning the habits that actually keep it off, you’re only going to find yourself right back where you started.

So the goal shouldn’t be just to lose the weight. You need to focus more on becoming the woman who knows how to maintain the weight loss, without constantly starting over.

If you’re ready to stop starting over every Monday and finally build a lifestyle that actually fits your life, I’d love to help. Send me a “READY” DM, and let’s chat about your goals. đŸ’ȘđŸ©· by @_alysonmichelle

Motherhood will test your discipline every single day.

There are plenty of days I don’t feel like working out, meal prepping, or doing the things I know make me feel like my best self. But I’ve learned not to let my mood make those decisions for me.

Because every choice I make is shaping the woman I’m becoming (yes I’m still a work in progress). And that’s the example I want my girls to grow up watching. đŸ€

So if today maybe didn’t go as planned, that’s okay sis. You don’t have to do everything every single day. You just have to keep showing up, even when it’s easier to quit. I promise those small choices you’re making add up, and one day you’ll look back and realize they changed your life. đŸ«¶đŸœ by @_alysonmichelle

The moment I became a girl mom, a part of my heart I didn’t even know existed came to life.

We’ve grown up together in so many ways. As you’ve learned how to navigate this world, you’ve taught me how to slow down, love deeper, be more patient, and become the kind of woman and mother I always hoped I’d be. Watching you grow has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.

Witnessing my daughter grow, learn, and become her own little person has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. And then getting to experience it all over again with her little sister? I know that’s a blessing I’ll never, ever take for granted. đŸ€ by @_alysonmichelle

Skinny is trending which I find to be super annoying, and the pressure to have the perfect summer body is everywhere. But mama, I want to remind you of something.

Your body grew, carried, and gave birth to a human being. That alone is incredible. And I just want you to know that it’s capable of so much more than just trying to be “skinny”.

Yes, it’s okay to want to feel confident when you look in the mirror after having babies, and you definitely deserve that. But I also want you to feel strong in your body, so you can carry your kids without your back hurting, keep up with them at the park and most importantly age well enough to take care of yourself for years to come.

So instead of chasing the Pilates bodies you see on this app, chase the strongest, healthiest version of YOURSELF.

Tag a mama who needs to hear this and save it for when you need the reminder đŸ©· by @_alysonmichelle
