here’s everything I did day 1 on my first international solo trip in paris, france 🤍

one thing I learned really quickly: having a plan without forcing the plan is the BEST way to travel solo. I had a loose itinerary, gave myself room to wander, and somehow ended up having the most perfect day sightseeing 🥹

I couldn’t stop thinking about how no one in my immediate family, at least that I know of, has experienced Europe before me. as a Black woman, I’m so grateful for the women who came before me and fought for me to have the freedom to see the world, explore and experience a life beyond what I’ve always known
