Although we couldn’t provide everything she needed, we were grateful to provide a few of the essentials and, most importantly, put a smile on her face. ❤️

Some stories stay with you long after you leave, Jacky's is one of them.❤️
During our visit to Osterbay Ward in Mzumbe, Morogoro, we met Jacky a 12 year old girl living with physical disability and facing challenges that no child should have to face alone.

Her family shared with us some of the difficulties they experience, including the challenge of mobility and meeting some of her basic needs.
Our simple purpose is to listen, to care and to help where we could.
And by the grace of God and through the kindness of everyone who supported LET THEM SMILE, we were able to provide Jacky with a wheelchair and clothes.
It may seem like a small act, but to Jacky and her family it means greater mobility, dignity,comfort and most importantly a reminder that she is not forgotten 🤍🩵💚.

Some moments stay in your heart forever, and this was one of them ❤️

Listening to the stories of the women at the prison was overwhelming and deeply emotional, behind every face was a story, a lesson, and a reminder of how important kindness and human connection truly are.

What touched us even more was the joy they had when they saw us,they welcomed us with smiles, gratitude, hope, and open hearts, not only were they encouraged by the visit but they also encouraged and advised us in ways we will never forget,many of them expressed how much they wish to continue receiving visitors, especially during weekends and public holidays, as those are the official visiting hours.

We were also reminded that small things can make a big difference, for anyone with books to share especially law books and beginner reading books, your support can help empower and encourage them greatly,this was more than a visit, it was a memorable experience filled with emotion, humanity, hope, and love. 🤍
