A picture of my dad taking a picture of me. A bittersweet moment...My dad came to this country in 1994 and worked odd and many jobs to provide a better future for me. Growing up and being his only child, he made sure he provided me with the best resources, especially when it came to education. I remember when I was in elementary school, he was working as a security guard at the Hebrew Home and sometimes, he'd take me to work with him after school to make sure I did my homework so he could go over it, then send me home in a taxi before bedtime😭. Years later, he went back to school for occupational therapy because he wanted to ensure he could provide me with the best. Today, I'm elated that I made him proud🙏🏾 by @_amma
