11 years ago today, Ashley was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. What felt overwhelming in that moment has become a daily journey of strength, courage, and resilience.

Every single day, she manages something that most people will never truly understand—the countless finger pricks, site changes, carb counting, highs, lows, alarms, and constant calculations. Yet she doesn’t let it define her. Instead, she pushes forward with determination and a smile that lights up every room.

I am in awe of the way she lives so fully while carrying this invisible weight. She is proof that diabetes is tough, but so is she. 💙 Her courage inspires me, and her strength amazes me every single day.

Today is Ashley’s 10th *Diaversary*—10 years since she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at just 10 years old.

Here we are, a whole decade later, and we couldn’t be prouder of her. She has faced every challenge with so much courage and strength. From learning how to manage blood sugars to handling the ups and downs that come with diabetes, she’s shown what true resilience looks like.

This Diaversary isn’t just about marking the day she was diagnosed; it’s about celebrating how far she’s come and all she’s accomplished despite the obstacles. She never lets diabetes stop her from living her life to the fullest.

To our amazing daughter: you inspire us every single day. You’ve turned what could’ve been a tough road into a journey filled with hope, determination, and so much strength. Here’s to 10 years of pushing through and thriving. Happy Diaversary! 💙 by @_amy.beth_
