POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’m sad to announce that Dodger left us at about 12:45 PM today at 18 years old and 6 months. Thank you all for your efforts in crowdfunding for his medical expenses. He spent his last moments in my arms, and in a very Dodger fashion he released his bladder contents all over me. Next thing we knew, he was gone.

I didn’t know what unconditional love was until I met Dodger. I’ve had him since I was 9 and he lived with my family up until 2023 when he moved in with me and @s_b_again. Ever since then, this 7 pound chihuahua/shitzu took over my life. Dodger always looked at me with stars in his eyes, even when he was going blind. In his early adulthood he would hunt birds and rabbits and bring me their carcasses as trophies, but he was always the sweetest dog ever to humans and the only time he bit me was a few days ago when he thought my finger was part of the chicken I was feeding him. He would always patrol the house and make sure we were guarded (though if there was a real threat he would still treat them with kindness 😭). He would wag his tail at literally everyone. His favorite activities (similar to me) were yearning, sitting on the couch, and pissing everywhere. Dodger is the best and only dog I’ve ever had and if you’ve met him even once I’m sure he loved you too. Rest in peace Dodger 8/2007 ~ 2/25/2026. I love you forever, thank you for this beautiful sunset.

All other proceeds will go to paying back his previous medical bills, post-life care, my moving costs and all leftover funds will go to human rights defenders in the Philippines. Thank you all again for your support. by @_anetter

“Duyan” (Hammock) - Ericson Acosta #PassThePHRA
• • •
This song was written by Ericson Acosta, a poet, songwriter, journalist, and peasants’ rights activist who was tortured and eventually killed in 2022 by the Armed Forces of the Philippines. #PassThePHRA

The United States is hoping to push the PERA Bill, which would give $2.5-BILLION USD in military aid to the Philippine government. Instead of enabling these human rights violations, help us push the Philippine Human Rights Act, which would cut ALL military aid to the Philippines until such crimes against humanity are investigated. #PassThePHRA by @_anetter
