I’ve been trying to find my style again as a second time mama and instead of buying complete outfits, I’ve started picking pieces I genuinely love individually and seeing if they all work togetherAnd that’s been the best way to build a wardrobe that actually feels like me again?today’s combination: a brown knit, a polka dot dress that I wore as a skirt, blue kitten heels for a little pop of colour, and a few timeless accessories. simple pieces, but together they just make sense and I feel more like “ME” again🥺I’m slowly leaning into pieces I’ll wear for years instead of just one season. Ive been wanting to recreate this DIY for the longest time and I was telling my sister @anna.mordido all about the ideaShe then said: SAY LESS. Let’s go sis and make it happen!We divided with the boys as they were going to @bunnings , they picked up a simple key holder from Bunnings, while we headed to @vinniesvictoria to hunt for the perfect piece of laceAfter searching through the racks, my sister found this $7 lace top and it was perf! Got to the counter and it was half price 🙈a little cutting, a little patience, and it turned into one of my favourite pieces in our home!I think that’s whatI love most about thrifting—seeing potential where others might not and this gal is defs the queen of that and so happy she made it happen! 😙the best DIY home decor doesn’t always come from a homewares store. sometimes it starts with a thrift find, a bit of creativity, and someone who gets your vision. 🤍 @evereverclub would you have guessed this used to be a top?save this for your next thrift flip or vintage-inspired home decor project. ✨ by @_annanepomuceno
