everybody wish a warm happy bday to our boyyy, breakdancer, chef/restaurant owner, nurse, burger enjoyer, down ass fool, drummer, songwriter, and more @justfunk_bham !!! justin was the link that basically brought this current version of apperson together and all of us (except @gbrlsndwch , somebody get that guy an apron) have basically worked for justin at some point or another whether it was @benaddictz_la or @hifikitchen. it’s been a joy of my life to have known justin and been making music with him for like maybe 18 years now?? and to think, it all started at a house party at justin’s house. also that’s my segue into reminding yall that we’re playing a house show in historic filipinotown this saturday (07/25)! hit the last slide for the details and email us for the address! justin is the best, holds down historic filipinotown like no other, and just plain rules as most of you probably already know. hbd buddy, love ya - audrey taken in Historic Filipinotown of Los Angeles by @_appersonca

appy and house shows go together like rice and hot dogs. here’s some house show memories from our own stomping grounds at the hifi house, to the membership house a few blocks away, and also our own diy corner of the baryo at baryo hifi last year. diy is a part of who we are, historic filipinotown is our hood, and we’re playing a house show this saturday in hifi! this time we’re playing at the membership spot 07/25/26 and it’s gonna be fire. @membershipband is gonna be there obvi, @dunk.pacino and @roadtrip.band also rockin, and it’s gonna be a gay ol time. it’s free, DM us for the address/details, we still have some merch leftover from tour, and we’ve got some new songs we’ll be playing! the rooftop is a beautiful spot, and we’re definitely stoked to be back in hifi again. love yaaaa 🤩
