#selfportrait with daguerreotype. Which is unique, highly detailed photograph created on a highly polished, silver-coated copper plate, invented by Louis Daguerre and announced in 1839. The process involved sensitizing the plate with iodine vapors, exposing it in a camera, developing the latent image with mercury vapor, and fixing it with hyposulphite of soda to make it permanent. Considered the first practical and publicly available photographic process, daguerreotypes were popular for portraits during the 1840s and 1850s. During my Art Gymnasium (photography direction) I was very interested into this technique and into hand coloring. From this last I made finishing art work for as a Diploma work. Lately I don't do any of these old techniques. Btw. Outfit was for the art/photography purpose. by @_arnoir_

#Hallstatt, auch nichtamtlich Hallstatt am Hallstätter See. Zusammen mit dem Dachstein und dem Inneren Salzkammergut gehört es zur UNESCO-Welterbestätte Hallstatt-Dachstein/Salzkammergut. Nach Funden in einem ausgedehnten Gräberfeld oberhalb des Ortes wird ein Zeitabschnitt der älteren Eisenzeit (800 bis 450 v. The Château de Gerbéviller is a chateau in the small community of Gerbéviller in Lorraine, France. The present buildings date from the 17th to 19th centuries, and include the chateau, a theater, a chapel, a pavilion and a unique water nymphaeum. Here are some garden photos.

The Château de Gerbéviller is a chateau in the small community of Gerbéviller in Lorraine, France. The site has been occupied since at least the 12th century. The present buildings date from the 17th to 19th centuries, and include the chateau, a theater, a chapel, a pavilion and a unique water nymphaeum. The chateau and chapel were badly damaged during World War I, but have been repaired. They have been protected under various designations since 1945, and since February 1996 have had an overall designation as a historical monument. The park of the chateau with its views over the valley of Mortagne has been a classified natural site since 1999. #nmt by @_arnoir_
