Hailing from Buffalo, New York, Ross Vance Cooper is a dynamic poet whose voice has echoed across stages throughout the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area, as well as numerous cities across Pennsylvania. His journey has even taken him to the legendary Nuyorican Poets Café in New York City, where he left an indelible mark with his evocative words and commanding presence.

Drawing inspiration from literary giants and cultural icons such as Rudy Francisco, Amir Sulaiman, John Lennon, and the late Tupac Shakur, Ross fuses raw emotion with lyrical precision. His work explores the intricate dance between love and loss, the fire of revolution, and the quiet strength found in resolution. With a style that blends introspection, rhythm, and unapologetic truth, Ross crafts poetry that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.

Beyond the microphone, Ross is a storyteller, truth-seeker, and cultural commentator—using his platform to challenge narratives, uplift voices, and spark necessary conversations. Whether on stage or on the page, he delivers poetry that doesn’t just speak—it listens, heals, and ignites.
