Dia 5 de dezembro, Lisboa recebe IRATION STEPPAS, um dos sound systems que ajudou a mudar para sempre o dub em todo o mundo.

Há mais de três décadas na linha da frente da cultura sound system, chegam ao Village Underground com dubplates e specials no seu estilo inconfundível:

On December 5th, Lisbon welcomes IRATION STEPPAS, one of the sound systems that helped reshape dub worldwide.

For more than three decades at the forefront of sound system culture, they arrive at Village Underground with dubplates and specials, playing in their unmistakable style:

Obrigado a toda a gente que passou pelo Village Underground no sábado e celebrou connosco o 2º aniversário do Atlantic Sound.

A todos os que apareceram, dançaram, cantaram, ficaram até ao fim e ajudaram a tornar a noite especial — big love. ❤️

@mancalledrookie e mano @bg_southside , vocês abusaram no mic. 🥵🔥 @soymarydelbarrio , mesmo meio adoentada, ainda veio dar os parabéns à malta. @alexandre.tpinheiro , partiste tudo no sax. @hudsonjahson , big up pelo bingi e pela ajuda a montar o sound. E ao @selecta_baresi que não podia ter aquecido melhor a casa!! ❤️

Menção especial à @hanamercy.dub , que desceu de autocarro da Guarda até Lisboa e ficou mais uma semana em Portugal do que estava previsto só para poder participar no nosso aniversário. Ganda selection e dubplates. 💥🆙

Big up ao Gustavo e toda a equipa do @villageundergroundlisboa , ao Delmas, à Joana, ao Hans e à Sista Lisa por trazerem o @mountainspiritsound System e ajudarem a pôr tudo de pé.

Ao fim da tarde, o jardim do Museu de Lisboa – Palácio Pimenta foi ganhando ambiente, com a música a tomar conta do espaço e o Alval’Arte a juntar diferentes gerações em torno dos concertos.

Durante duas noites, o Alval’Arte aproximou a cultura das pessoas, num espaço onde os concertos, o convívio e a envolvência do museu fizeram parte da mesma experiência.

A Junta de Freguesia de Alvalade agradece ao Museu de Lisboa – Palácio Pimenta pela parceria, aos Atlantic Sound e a todos os que contribuíram para esta edição.
