MICHAELFeeling extra grateful for this guy 🥰Michael came into my life during a really tender time—when I was starting to heal, reconnect with God, and figure out life as a young widow. I was learning to make peace with a new reality, and slowly, new doors started opening: I reconnected with family and friends, met new people, and was introduced to a whole new way of living.Michael was part of my new journey. We started as friends—he would talk to me about God, protecting my soul, and always led with kindness and grace. Over time, our bond grew stronger, and I’m so thankful for everything he’s been to me: a friend, a partner, and someone who truly respects my journey.He’s been patient, loving, and even puts up with my wild dogs 😂Thankful for him, for where I’ve been, and for whatever God has next. 🙏Thank you, again, @michelleherreraphotography_ for your patience with us (dogs) 😆 by @_audreydan

LEMMY & SKYEMy pups! They are my security guards, unofficially trained glucose monitors, and entertainers 🫶🏾Lemmy, the muscle, is a mixed Jack Russell. He loves to play with other dogs and play fetch for hours. For being a working dog, he does not like to wake up early and he loves his bed and blankets.Skye is a blonde haired Border Collie with blue/green eyes. She takes a while to trust other dogs but she loves affection by humans. I’ve never trained them but they alert me when my blood sugar is low or high. After a few times before my #dexcom #cgm alerts me that I’m either low or high, they both paw at me to alert me there is something wrong. Smart dogs, always trust their instincts. by @_audreydan

AUDREY DANIELLE 2.0We’re doing GREAT! We’re still here, still standing, and it’s all by God’s grace. 💛I’m so grateful for the love, patience, and kindness that’s surrounded me over the years. There have been some heavy moments—grief, challenges, and learning how to keep going—but I kept putting one foot in front of the other, and life is slowly finding its way again.Vince, thank you for loving me the way you did. You’re missed every single day. You’ll always have a piece of my heart. The doggos and I are figuring things out—you’d probably be laughing at some of our chaos, but I know you’re cheering us on.Widowhood is no joke. Throw in Type 1 Diabetes, and it’s been a wild ride—but somehow, I’ve found gratitude even in the hard stuff. I’m proud I got to be your wife, and it’s an honor to be your widow.
