We believe the best way to cultivate sea moss for human consumption is to Ocean Farm Sea Moss...harvesting sea moss directly from rocks on the ocean floor also known as "wildcrafted" disturbs the living organisms that use the rocks as their home and the sea moss as their food and protection.
•
If you harvest sea moss from rocks, you would actually have to crack a piece of the rock off to harvest the sea moss because the sea moss is latched onto the rock for dear life!
•
Our Sea Moss species is Eucheuma Cottonii...it is known for its ability to stay clean of ocean debris and sea mud while being cultivated in the ocean.
•
FYI...this is not Chondrus Crispus aka "Irish Sea Moss", that will only grow in cold waters such as off the coast of Ireland or the Northeastern coast of Canada & Maine.
•
Warm Tropical Water Sea Moss across the world is much more nutrient dense than cold water sea moss or sea weeds or sea algaes in our opinion.
•
Thank You for reading and viewing our video.
•
Follow @_axumus_ or come see us at our next pop up shop in the Greater Los Angeles area to purchase our FDA inspected & approved St. Lucian Sea Moss or our "Fresh to Order" Artisan made Sea Moss Gel online or in person. We always post where we will be to keep you in the loop.
