It was absolutely amazing being able to attend Brad Sundberg’s (@inthestudiowithmj) London Seminars in May a couple months back now! I can’t describe how insightful and genuinely fun it was to meet, listen to, and learn from someone who has worked on albums which are so monumental, including Michael Jackson’s Bad, Dangerous, and History albums. It really inspired me! I had a go, for the first time, at using hardware to mix/balance the levels of the stems of certain MJ songs like Scream, Liberian Girl, and Jam. To be able to hear the multitracks for these songs was extremely life-changing, as it clicked for me that there’s really no shortcuts in the process of music-making @michaeljackson @teddyriley1 @janetjackson @flytetymejam @flytetymelewis 🙌🏾🙌🏾🤩!

Thank you so much @inthestudiowithmj for a wonderful two days of incredible stories, insight and advice! I’ve been trying to take it on board and get behind more hardware lol🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Hoping we get some more songs from these albums in the next @michaelmovie 👀👀👀…..

So happy to share with you all Part 1 of this live cover of Heaven Can Wait by Michael Jackson. This song has genuinely been my favourite since I first heard it many years ago. So I just had to get these wonderful musicians together and have us all do our thing on it🎵

Special shoutout to all of the amazing people credited on this song, who without their input, this song wouldn’t be here!! @michaeljackson @teddyriley1 @1kennyquiller @natesmithdrums @eritzawrotethat @teronbeal @fanaticakabillielennox , Que, George Mayers, Terence Thompson, and Dr Freeze!!!

I hope you all enjoy listening to this, and stay tuned for Part 2😄😊❤️

Also, it was especially exciting and intriguing to get insight on the story behind this song, when I was doing an essay article on it for one of my uni assessments - thank you so much @1kennyquiller , @eritzawrotethat and Que for taking the time to enlighten me on your perspectives!😄🙏🏾🙏🏾

Thank you to @inthestudiowithmj also, for encouraging me to delve more into live recording!!!

@michaelmovie hopefully this song can make it into the next movie 🙈?

So thankful to say that after months of hard work, my debut single is going to be released THIS FRIDAY☺️!

To perform/produce/engineer on this track and create the cover artwork was a challenge, though incredibly worth it😊.
