Sunday, November 1, 2026; ICE agents came out en masse to threaten legal observers with arrest, beyond their legal mandate, and an obvious attempt at intimidation. DHS and FPS were working alongside ICE, and did not warn anyone of any improprieties beforehand. The ICE supervisor is also seen admonishing his agents. This lack of training is jarring. It also seems that this massive increase in ICE activity happening near the election is no coincidence. Sunday saw the most ICE activity in over 500 days with armadas of unmarked vehicles, and agents coming in from all over the country including Minnesota, Montana, Iowa, Florida, Texas, and others. #dtla #losangeles #california #breakingnews #knowyourrights by @_b.lanca
Two ICE agents have been mocking community members, playing music, and additional four agents waiting outside for people to be released so they can detain them. ICE activity has been happening throughout the day, from early morning to late at night. This is what’s been going on in our community. There are ways to help keep our community informed and look out for one another. Here’s how you can alert👇🏽 LA ☎️ 213-444-6562 OC ☎️ 714-717-3847 Ventura ☎️ 805-296-1119 IE @we_keep_us_safe_ie #chingalamigra #ice #iceout #hielo #comunidad by @_b.lanca

10/23/26: approximately 10:30pm, this vehicle was seen leaving the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles, CA. IT IS NOT CLEAR if these children are detainees or if they are family of the driver. But, this vehicle nor any other vehicle with children was observed entering the facility while legal observers were on the ground since approximately 7:30pm. The children were not wearing seat belts nor were they in car seats. Please keep in mind that this is also an ICE processing center. This is not the first time we have seen children enter or leave the facility (see my pinned video). Southern California is currently under a surge of ICE operations. Children are innocent. Free the children. People’s constitutional rights are being violated. Get angry. Build community. Protect yourselves and your community. Share this widely. Thank you for engaging 🙏🏼. by @_b.lanca
Correction: this was Friday, October 23, 2026: a car left the MDC with two children. The children had no seat belts, and the driver was leaving erratically. It is unclear if they were family or detainees, but usually parents don’t bring children to a prison at 10:30 on a Friday night. If detainees, please contact the center for missing and exploited children. This was at the LA MDC at 535 Alameda. #dtla #losangeles #breakingnews #knowyourrights #immigrantrights by @_b.lanca
