#LatePost

I’m honored to officially be a part of the @RecordingAcademy’s 2025 New Member Class — a powerful, global community of creatives and professionals helping shape the future of music.

Since accepting the invitation, I’ve taken time to reflect on what it truly means to have a seat at this table.

As a member, I now have a voice in the GRAMMY Awards process, a platform to advocate for the culture, and an opportunity to grow while supporting my peers in this ever-evolving industry.

What makes the Academy strong is its diversity of genres, stories, and lived experiences. I’m excited to bring my own perspective to the fold and continue championing musical excellence, authenticity, and progress.

2024 tested me in every way possible. Financial setbacks, plans falling apart, and feeling like I was stuck while watching my peers excel. On top of that, having friends and family doubt my choices didn’t make it any easier. It made me question everything…my worth, my path, and if I’m even doing the right thing.

But through it all, I kept going. Even when things felt heavy, I poured myself into my creativity and found new ways to keep building.

The challenges aren’t over, but neither am I. I’ve decided to take a step back from social media for now because comparison really is the thief of joy. But before I do, I wanted to share some of my highs this year with some of the people who’ve been with me along the way.

Here’s to the lessons, the growth, and the grind…

D.N.E Social is all about creating intimate experiences that bring folks together through art🖼️, food🍛, and music🎶. Our goal is to make a space that’s inclusive and entertaining, and age appropriate. We got @djsoundsbycam and @brooke_billions on the 1s and 2s. Enjoy food from @wegotfoodathomellc and infused treats from @blissfullyc, and check out amazing art from @adaris_nylo.

We wanted our first social to be in support of our friend Jahmaar, who we know would be in attendance if he was able to. So let’s turn up for him! #JahmaarStrong

Each social will have a different theme and happen quarterly, so you’ll always have something to look forward to without feeling burnt out.
HMU if you need to. Remember.. if you don’t got a ticket, you can’t kick it! Link is in bio.

It’s my 29th birthday! I’m happy to still be here. I am grateful for all the blessings in my life.

28 was terrible. Bad news damn near every month. I lost so much. I can’t believe the shit I went through but I’m getting through it. And I thank God that I am. I’m hopeful and excited for 29. This year is not about what was but about what is… it’s not about who/what I’m not but who/what I am.
I am strong. I am powerful. I am confident. I am influential. I am abundant. I am healthy. I am appreciated. I am loved… I will be ok… I will be better than ok. I am no longer holding on to the past but enjoying the present and preparing for the future. Because when the big 30 come around, it’s time…

Alright enough of that soft stuff. Tell me happy birthday mfs !!!
