Prepare for trouble… and make it double! 🚀🔥

On today’s interview, we’re joined by two amazing cosplayers bringing the iconic Jessie and James of Team Rocket from Pokémon to life! We talk about everything Pokémon, from debating the best season of the series to choosing the best starter Pokémon of all time.

Then we switch things up and dive into the real question: Which “Black” fictional character would you go on a date with? 👀😂 From Pokémon nostalgia to dating fictional characters, this interview definitely had some fun answers!

Who would YOU choose?

Behind the Cosplay: @_baenay_ 🎭📸

There’s always more to the person behind the cosplay.

By day, @_baenay_ is a senior media manager in digital advertising. Outside of her career, cosplay gives her another space to create and express herself.

For her, being represented as a Black female cosplayer matters. Seeing other Black women bring their own style to cosplay inspired her to get started. Now, from braids and curls to her own personal touches, she makes every character uniquely hers.

That’s what Behind the Cosplay is about: the careers, creativity, and stories behind Black cosplayers.

Our personalities in a 10 second clip. This is always our Thursday night before the convention 😂😂 Summer nights can’t handle us! My favorite person to be at an anime convention with.

Can anyone else relate?
