Hasta tocar el fondo vacío del lenguaje is a way of squeezing words and sounds until they can somehow carry us through the harshness of this world.
A huge thank you to DKA and Avant! for making its physical existence possible and for being such great partners in crime, trusting our vision all the way. The biggest thank you goes to @thatwhichisnotsaid_twins Matt Wiener, who was a total angel, mixing this record with such dedication and meticulous ears. Dietrich Schoenemann for the mastering as well.

Thank you Paula Montenegro for all the photographs over these past months, and for the analog magic created by intervening the images. Thank you Paula Pellejero, who is working on a video that is absolutely stunning. You’ll see. Just a little longer.
And a hug to the beyond for Graciela Taquini, whose work we pay homage to on the cover. The record is out today on all platforms!

Nos tomamos nuestro tiempo, ¿no? Hasta tocar el fondo vacío del lenguaje es una forma de estrujar las palabras y sonidos hasta encontrar alguna manera de atravesar lo difícil de este mundo.
Un enorme gracias a DKA y Avant! por hacer posible su existencia física y por ser grandes cómplices en el camino, confiando en nuestra visión sin objeciones. A Matt Wiener, el agradecimiento más grande. Un ángel total, mezclando este disco con una dedicación enorme y unos oídos meticulosos. También a Dietrich Schoneman por el mastering.
Gracias a Paula Montenegro por todas las fotos de estos últimos meses y por la magia analógica que hicimos interviniendo las imágenes para el álbum.
Gracias a Legón por Desgaste, a Yazmin por Sintagma y a todas las personas que fueron parte del proceso. Gracias a Paula Pellejero, que está trabajando en un video increíble. Ya lo van a ver. Falta un poquito. Y un abrazo hacia el más allá para Graciela Taquini, cuya obra homenajeamos en la portada.

Nos vemos esta noche??? Muy emocionados por sacar esto a la luz. Queremos verlos en el chat y conversar mientras escuchamos Hasta tocar el fondo vacío del lenguaje de principio a fin. Swamp Booking is pleased to welcome BALVANERA to the roster.

Balvanera is the project of Agustina Vizcarra and Lucas Palavecino from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Since 2016, the duo has been building a sonic narrative that moves between the corporeal and the spectral, exploring waves and minimal synth as well as more intense and rhythmic directions closer to Body music.

Their new album, “Hasta tocar el fondo vacío del lenguaje,” will be released by Avant Records (EU/UK) and DKA Records (US/CAN) on October 1, 2026. by @_balvanera_

‘Hasta tocar el fondo vacío del lenguaje’ is available now for pre-order on aquamarine vinyl & digital, co-released by the powerhouse labels @dka_records (US/CA) and @avant_records (EU/UK).

Pre-order and listen to the track 'Desgaste' now. The full album will be available on October 1st, 2026.

We have been working hard for the last few years to create our very personal sonic narrative exploring waves and minimal synth as well as Body music, all while sharing the stage with artists such as Clan of Xymox, Boy Harsher, Die Selektion, Kontravoid, NNHMN and Ashcode to name a few. That’s been a trip!

This new album will push our expression even further, focused on language and sound as expressive forms. The title, meaning Until Touching the Empty Bottom of Language, borrowed from a fragment of Arturo Carrera’s poem Escrito con un nictógrafo, offers a clue to our nocturnal sensibility: those thoughts and images that can only emerge in the sleepless or dreamy hours of the night, when they reach their most revealing edge.

The first single ‘Desgaste’ is out today on all streaming platforms.
