Materectomy, a 35mm film that was only really made possible by the immensely patient and hard working crew that built and captured it. My team is kickass, in short. by @_barbara__27

disposables were found and developed from summer/fall of 2024. naturally, here’s a (mostly) portrait dump of some wonderful people. 🍀 by @_barbara__27

I believe half of my disposable footage was lost so I can only have the highlights of my beautiful family (and glorious Italy). Slide 2 is my brother’s big 31st. Slide 3 is his pretentious sibling. The rest is love. by @_barbara__27

it’s been a little over a month since the premiere of @pigeon_livered_ and we have just received these precious BTS photos from @slrowkins 🐦

this short, surrealist 16mm film would not be able to come to life had it not been for a talented, dedicated team. it has been nothing short of a joy (and immense relief) to be able to finally share it with everyone, celebrating the hard work that has been poured into it.

a special shoutout to my co-producer @doimk, our writer @sophiya_02 , and our cast @mrsaudreylindsay @summerjoules_official and Benson Jackson for sharing the stage and introducing this film to our guests at the Sarah Kravitz Gallery.

a separate shoutout to @uclfilmsociety and its community, especially your treasured Arriflex 16BL 🎥

and finally, thank you to my beautiful mother, @kononova1469 , who is always front row at everything and anything I do. i love you. ❤️ taken in London, United Kingdom by @_barbara__27
