🕊️ In Loving Memory of My Auntie

This is a pain that keeps you up at night. A pain that leaves knots in your stomach and a heaviness in your heart that words simply cannot explain.

All I can hear are the screams of my mother losing her only sister, and there is nothing I can do to take away her pain. That is a pain I wish I could carry for her, but I know I cannot.

This one hurts deeply. 💔

I pray 🙏🏾 constantly for comfort, strength, and peace for my mother and my uncle, who have lost a sister; for my grandmother, who has lost a child; and for my cousins, who have lost their mother.

There are no words I can say to make this pain disappear. There is nothing I can say that will make losing you hurt any less. All I can do is pray that God wraps His arms around each of us and gives us the strength to get through the days ahead.

Auntie, you will truly be missed. Your presence, your love, your smile, and the memories you left behind will forever live in our hearts. 🕊️❤️

Until we meet again, sleep peacefully, Auntie.
