We remember Stefka Evstatieva with this short video featuring an interview she gave on the occasion of Bulgarian Concert Evenings in New York’s 20th Anniversary. She has been a constant supporter and advisor of Bulgarian musicians of all ages and her legacy as an artist and as a person, will stay with us for many generations to come. Thank you, Stefka, for everything. Video credit — Christo Bakalov. @bakyusa2 #bulgaria #stefkaevstatieva #opera #operasinger #classicalmusic #community #bulgariansabroad by @_bceny_

This week we celebrated the Spring with a benefit concert, featuring superb jazz artists Asen Doykin @asen_doykin, piano, Peter Slavov, bass @peterslavovbass and Pete Zimmer, drums (@pete.zimmer). The theme was "the Roaring Twenties" and the party featured prohibition era cocktails, reception and silent auction. All proceeds will benefit our Twenty-First Season 2025-2026. Many thanks to @angelov76 Consul General Angel Angelov and The Consulate General of Bulgaria in New York for hosting the event and to a Американска фондация за България - American Foundation for Bulgaria and all who support the series. Looking forward to more concerts soon! #bulgaria #benefit #roaringtwenties #jazz #tinpanalley #bulgarianconsulate #bulgariainnewyork taken in Bulgarian Consulate General by @_bceny_
