Some will watch.
Others will build it.

BETROGENER TRAUM is not just an exhibition.

It’s a response.
A reconstruction.
A space built out of what was taken.

—

Spread the word.

Every connection,
every conversation,
every shared moment
helps this grow into something bigger.

Not just for art —
but as a way to push back.

Against silence.
Against exclusion.
Against systems that were never meant to include us.

—

This is being built together.

With partners.
With collaborators.
With people who don’t just observe — but move.

If you feel this:
Join the team.
Become part of it.

—

Deep gratitude to everyone already involved.
You know who you are.
Without you, this would still be just my idea.

Now it’s becoming real, for all of us.

—

The list of guest artists is growing daily.

Different voices.
Different backgrounds.
One shared energy.

This is no longer “I”.

This is becoming “we”.

—

→ Let’s build something that stays.

THE FIRST ROOM.

☝️ Before BETROGENER TRAUM becomes public, something else has to happen first. 🤝

Not the opening.
Not networking.
Not performance.

A room before all of that.

THE FIRST ROOM is the first physical moment for the 15 Guest Artists of AREA 05.

A place to arrive.
To meet.
To understand that this is no longer only digital, no longer only individual, no longer only one story.

We are here.
In one room.
Before the world enters. 🙏

Because a project about structure also has to build one.

👷 CHAPTER TWO — WHAT THIS PROJECT NEEDS NOW. 🧱

The work is ready.
The artists are here.
The test viewing happened.

Now the next part needs structure.

👉 A room.
🔌 Technical support.
🛠 Production hands.
👀 Press eyes.
💡 Light.
🔊 Sound.

And most of all:
People who understand that this is bigger than one artist. 🤝

BETROGENER TRAUM has reached the point where the next step cannot be built alone.

Not because the project is missing.
Because the project is ready.

Now it needs the people, spaces and structures that can carry it into the real world. 🙏

🫡 If you know someone who should see this — send it forward. 🫶

Thank you!

TWINKLE, TWINKLE KLEINER STAR | 165 × 194 × 3 cm 2026 | Acrylic, permanent marker, glitter particles on transparent foil and cardboard, wooden strip, plastic cord

"Lift the layer — but consider what you truly want to see."

TWINKLE, TWINKLE KLEINER STAR is not a fixed image — it is a membrane. Two transparent foil layers overlap, shift, and separate. The first layer is intentionally bent forward, creating a visible fold. It invites proximity. It suggests that the surface is not final.

You may lift it. Carefully. Dried foil carrying paint remains delicate. Creases stay. Small fragments will flake. The work is sealed, yet the material stays honest.

Depending on installation, the first layer can be folded back, allowing the second to become visible. Front becomes back. Orientation becomes fluid. There is no single “correct” state — only conditions.

The work reaches its full presence when suspended freely in space. Air causes the layers to move. They dance. A scream becomes a grin. A symbol becomes a face. A gate becomes an eye.

Glitter fragments on the rear layer catch the light. They flicker — not decoratively, but like residual stardust. The work tempts the viewer to look behind the first layer — while simultaneously asking:
Must everything be uncovered? Or is knowing that something exists behind enough?

TWINKLE, TWINKLE KLEINER STAR is a system of protection and revelation. A work about perspective, motion, and the fragile beauty of layered truths.

The work sits within a larger body exploring trust, collapse and reconstruction.

—

Some works won’t be publicly placed.
They move through people who understand where they belong.

If this resonates — you know what to do.

MASTER PEACE | 160 × 200 cm, 2026 | Acrylic, fineliner, marker, chalk on canvas, phosphorescently primed

"My future is mine. And at night, my painting belongs to itself."

MASTER PEACE is the final work of the exhibition BETROGENER TRAUM.

On a phosphorescent ground, BECKER condenses text, figurative fragments, and a seven-part symbol system into an image-body that oscillates between manifesto and warning sign.

The symbols represent the exhibition’s seven Areas and function at once as guardians, seals, and switching codes: control, measure, frequency, and opening.

In daylight, the work appears as expressive painting; in darkness, a second, radically altered reading emerges: bright zones begin to glow, backgrounds become active, and the image shifts from depiction to presence.

At the center is not the masterpiece, but peace as the highest authority — a boundary, a state, a transmitter.

The work sits within a larger body exploring trust, collapse and reconstruction.

They move through people who understand where they belong.

BOXED | D: 65 cm, 2026 | Mixed media installation, plastic foil, acrylic, marker, polystyrene ring, pins, plastic wire

„A halo made of disco balls. Shine and wound at the same time.“

BOXED is not an object. It is a situation. The work emerged from collective overwhelm — when individual voices became a chorus. What began as personal betrayal unfolded, through conversations with other affected artists, into shared testimony. From “I” to “we.” From anger to echo.

From the outside, BOXED appears loud, almost playful. Colors, fragments, angels, eyes. A yellow ring floats — like a halo. But the halo is studded with golden pins whose heads resemble tiny disco balls. They reflect light, movement, bodies. Sacred aura meets club culture. Thorn crown meets nightlife.

Whoever steps inside stands beneath that ring. From the outside, it looks as if the person wears a halo — elevated, almost sanctified. Yet the pins remain sharp. Shine and wound coexist.

The transparent foil is not decorative. It is a membrane. It separates and reveals at once. You are meant to step in! You are meant to touch it. Push through it. Please enter. Material here becomes decision. Only through contact does the work activate.

Inside, space tightens. Breath becomes audible. Handwritten statements from other affected artists appear at eye and chest level. Not staged. Not dramatized. Witnessed.

BOXED only functions through bodies. High heels, boots, painted nails, handbags — the visitors themselves alter the work. From the outside, they perform it. From the inside, they experience it.

BOXED is a test. Of curiosity. Of integrity. Of collective stance. It marks a threshold: from I to we, from isolation to resonance, from moral image to embodied truth.

The work sits within a larger body exploring trust, collapse and reconstruction.

BETROGENER TRAUM is no longer waiting to become real.
It is ready to enter the room.

‼️‼️‼️ Now we need the space.‼️‼️‼️

🤝 The hands.
🤲 The structure.
👍 The people who understand what has already been built.

‼️‼️‼️ I cannot carry the next part alone. ‼️‼️‼️
And maybe that is exactly the point. 🙂

👷‍♂️ CHAPTER TWO — THE TEST VIEWING HAPPENED. 🧱

Before BETROGENER TRAUM could ask for the next room, I needed to know one thing:

Does it actually work in space?

So we tested it.

📍 LOEWE SAAL, Berlin.

The works left the studio.
The Areas became physical.
The journey had to hold.

👉 This was not the exhibition.

It was a first viewing.
A test.
A proof of concept.

Could the structure carry the story?
Could people move through it?
Could art, sound, space and emotion become one journey?

They could.

🫶 People stayed.
🎨 The Areas worked.
🔊 The sound worked.
🏗️ The structure held.

And suddenly BETROGENER TRAUM was no longer something I could only imagine.

‼️‼️‼️ It had entered a room — and it worked. ‼️‼️‼️

The work is ready.
The artists are here.
The exhibition has been tested.

Now we need the room that can hold the whole thing. 🏗️

Different stories.

One shared structure.

👉 AREA 05 — THE PLAYGROUND FOR ALL — started as the moment BETROGENER TRAUM had to become bigger than my own experience.

And now it has.

🫶 15 artists said yes.
💪 15 different voices are already part of this project.

‼️‼️‼️ They are not decoration around my story. They are part of what this story has become. ‼️‼️‼️

OK / KO | 40 × 268 cm, 2025 | Acrylic, marker, nail polish, candy gold dust on cardboard, reinforced with wood

„A body turns into a symbol and returns to itself. OK and KO are not opposites — they are circulation.“

OK / KO is conceived as a wall-mounted totem: a vertical figure that does not depict but channels. The work is not an image of a body — it is a body, an upright axis between voice, matter, and return.

The cardboard support remains visible. Its edges, folds, and slight instability are intentional. The material is transitional — packaging, carrier, surface. Reinforced with wood, it gains structural strength without denying its origin. Fragility is elevated rather than concealed.

The composition unfolds as a cycle. In the lower section, the body appears fragmented, fluid, overloaded by organic forms and eruptions of color. Liquids, reactions, impulses. The subject is not autonomous here but part of a system that produces, releases, and continues.

A horizontal rupture marks a threshold — a resonance field where voice detaches from flesh. Expression becomes sign. Above, the imagery condenses into masks, archetypal figures, and a prominently exposed heart. The heart is not sentimental; it functions as a structural center. Gold dust is not decorative but energetic. Nail polish — intimate yet surface-bound — intensifies this duality.

At the top, one open and one closed eye stand side by side. Approval and collapse coincide. OK and KO merge. Not as resolution, but as reversal. The totem does not represent victory or defeat. It makes circulation visible.

BECKER is no longer an isolated subject here, but part of a larger system in which voice becomes action, action becomes symbol, and symbol returns to the body. OK / KO is not about an outcome. It is about return.

The work sits within a larger body exploring trust, collapse and reconstruction.

WE ARE READY | D: 55 cm 2025 | 420 sqm transparent plastic sheeting, acrylic, tape, messages, light storage, phosphorescent

„A cocoon of knots, words, and light. What was bound begins to glow.“

WE ARE READY is not an object in the conventional sense – it is a ritual body.

420 square meters of transparent plastic were painted, written on, cut, intertwined, knotted, and bound together. No layer rests loosely on another. Every message is tied to a second one; every symbol is physically connected. The work holds itself together.

The red inscriptions read like warnings or prayers: „Help.“, „They are here.“, „Smile.“, „We are all connected.“. They oscillate between private voice and collective signal – layered inner statements condensed into a shared frequency.

Symbols move between these words: protection circles, spirals, thresholds, seals, heart markings. They are not decorative but functional nodes. The plastic sheets were literally tied to each other, creating a visible nervous system of material tension.

At its core lies a heart of light. The cocoon absorbs energy and glows in the dark. This glow is not an effect, but a consequence: pain, anger, love, and protection collapse into radiance.

From a distance, the cocoon may initially appear unsettling:
like an oversized, blood-stained dental swab —
used, wounded, organic, almost repulsive.

But this reading shifts. In darkness, the object begins to shine.
The knotted layers shimmer. The surface transforms into something otherworldly — like a nest of mystical alien eggs,
a breeding body of future energy.

Within this perceptual rupture lies its force:

What looks like a wound becomes protection.
What appears used becomes condensed power.
What feels like pain becomes preparation.
What appears bound is awakening. WE ARE READY is not a call. It is a state of being.

The work sits within a larger body exploring trust, collapse and reconstruction.

65.536 CHOICES LATER | 122 × 139 × 12 cm 2026 | Paper, cardboard, acrylic, chalk, marker, screws, wood

“The image isn’t the point. The turning is.”

65.536 CHOICES LATER is not a painting. It is a decision system. Eight rotating panels, each painted on four sides, create 65,536 possible configurations. Every turn alters relationships. Every rotation generates a new image.

The piece works best suspended in space. Once the back becomes visible, the real experience begins. Rotate toward harmony. Rotate toward tension. Rotate until your favorite motif appears. Or deliberately choose dissonance — to challenge yourself.

The materials are intentionally modest: paper, cardboard, wood. All derived from cellulose. Pressed matter. Temporary stability. No monumentality. No illusion of permanence.

The white frame subtly references Japanese temple architecture — a threshold, a ritual space, a structure that holds transformation rather than an image.

The work does not present a final composition. It presents possibility. And the freedom — or burden — to keep turning.

The work sits within a larger body exploring trust, collapse and reconstruction.
