Gramps,
My best friend, my biggest supporter, my forever fishing partner, and the strongest guy i know. i never thought this day would ever come. the hardest goodbye. i could never thank you enough for everything you have done for me throughout my whole life. you and grandma have been there through everything, no matter what. i can’t imagine a life without you. i will continue to live every day a little more like you. you never let anything stop you, no matter how tough the battle was. you were the best grandpa a girl could ask for. you have taught me so much and i am so lucky to have been able to spend this much time with you. you always knew the answer to every question i had, how to make me laugh even when i thought it was impossible, how to sneak me money if you knew i was going somewhere, and were so lucky at the casino and playing numbers lol. i will forever be grateful for everything you have done for me, ash, and matt. I know you’re not in pain anymore, and that’s all that matters. i couldn’t see you like that any longer. Everything i do from here on out in my life is for you. I know you’ll be watching over me from Heaven and see me follow all of my dreams that were only possible because of you. I’ll be playing the numbers for you every week just like you did, and I hope you’re eating as many devil dogs as you can up there. Until we meet again. I love you gramps, with all of my heart❤️
