Out with the old (strap) in with the new 🙂. Glad to have my son (Omegeezy?) back on the wrist. Looking nice in this new watch strap made from apple skin (literally!). This is my second child next to Beema.

Another rare BMW part, the homelink garage door opener. This was a factory option that does exactly what you think it does. Apparently it can also turn on/off lights in your house if you pair it to them.

This one is in pristine condition, especially for a 20 year old part. It came from a well-optioned 4.4i X5 in the junkyard. This part is compatible with the E39, E38, E46, E53, and E83. The E46 at least is pre-wired for it, so install is easy 🙂. I already have one, so I’m going to sell this.

*only works with garage doors operating on protocol 1.0, most garage doors today are on 2.0 and I believe 3.0 is coming out soon if it hasn’t already. I have one of these installed in my car just for fun- you can get it to work with a repeater but that is $100.

BMW E39 528i M-tech 1- a questionable marketplace acquisition 🌝😎🚙. Runs and drives but has some issues… sold to @zachlambe 🤝 (but kept the wheels for myself)

Despite having 280,000 kms on the clock, it is extremely comfortable to sit in and to ride in. Except for the gasoline smell and the strange grinding noises coming from the suspension lol. But we will fix that. The build quality of this thing is solid, and there is almost no road noise- especially impressive considering this has a sunroof.

This is the first car I’ve purchased myself and definitely not the last- could have done a better job negotiating in price, and also could have done a better PPI, but I trusted the seller and it’s worked out great— anyways, It was a lot of car for a low price.

Buying and selling cars has been something I’ve wanted to do for a while, and something I’m also looking to do in the future.

So, If you are in the ottawa area, and you have a car you’re looking to sell- preferably one that needs work- let me know 😎🚗🚙🚕 by @_ben_t
