Another one requested by the demon themself from Vesseles. They opted for the first slide but I sent over these 4 options, all of which I think came out awesome. I went with a more minimal approach and let Harry Clark’s illustrations of Edgar Allen Poe’s writing do most of the work here. Can you believe this art was made in 1919?? It’s all free and legal to use in the public domain.

I still do these flyers for free just for the love of the game. Hit me up for your next gig! by @_benny_pepper

This was a fun one! I made this for my friend @paigecarey and her cover band @blackcatalystband. Paige and I have performed together and she’s got serious pipes. Go check out Black Catalyst at @thegatebelmont on October 2!

The image of the moon is from my perennial favorite Agnes Giberne, who wrote sci-fi and pop-sci for kids in the late 1800s. Her illustrations of celestial bodies are just awesome.

The little geometric flourishes around the outside are from the OEIS's toothpick-pattern generator. These patterns are super mathematically interesting and I just think they look sick. by @_benny_pepper

When a band with an aesthetic like the mighty @vesseles666 asks for a flyer, I know I need to capture their unique style. It was super fun working with them on this one, and I thought it would be cool to share not only the final product (first image), but also a bunch of iterations that didn't make the cut. They all needed to happen to land on something I'm really proud of and that Vesseles felt represented their art. And of course, go check out the ritual this October alongside @posthumanx_ and @apraxiadeth at @dannymurrysirishpub and presented by @grace.alcantar.shows

All the imagery in the final flyer are woodcuts and steel engravings taken from "The Castles and Abbeys of England" volumes 1 and 2, published in 1842 and 1854, respectively.

The font is called Ancient by artRAVE Editions on dafont.

I do these for freeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and use zero AI so hit me up for your next show.

Another flyer for my own band, @prima.materia.band! We’re supporting @the.true.none for their album release show @dannymurrysirishpub alongside lust4blood.etc and @burningdownband! It’s going to be a great show.

I am especially excited for this one since it’s put on by @grace.alcantar.shows who I’ve done flyers for all summer but still haven’t actually played a gig yet. Time for that to change!

This flyer uses another piece from Harry Clarke’s 1919 illustrations of Edgar Allen Poe’s “Tales of Mystery and Imagination”. Over a century later and this dude’s art remains metal as hell. Expect to see more of his stuff in my upcoming work. by @_benny_pepper
