Manchester Marathon 2025 🏅
03:58:40 ⌚

Still a bit emotional I managed a sub 4 Marathon. The most mentally challenging and gruelling task I've ever undertaken. 16 weeks training in the freezing cold to race in 20°c sunshine.

Breezed to 30km then somehow stumbled through the rest. (Thanks to a man with a hosepipe)

So much appreciation to my wonderful cheerleaders. A special thank you to the love of my life @bethyycarter for putting up with me obsessing about nothing else for the last few weeks. ❤️

Finally a shout out to the real heroes, to every single supporter and worker yesterday! It was incredibly moving being cheered on, motivated, given sweets, power ups and sprayed by complete strangers. Thank you 🙌🏻

'Unlike City, this medal counts' - No1 banner this year.

Very happy with a sub 1.50 given the complete lack of any training for this one.

As always a thank you to my number 1 cheerleader ♥️ taken in Manchester, United Kingdom by @_bensherlock

Oasis. Biblical.

There aren't words strong enough to describe it. Forever grateful we (Andy) managed to bag tickets.

What a night.
