When @ianblevins closed our June event at Gentle Reminder we were all transported to a different realm. Listen back to this recording as he takes us to Space and beyond.

On October 16th, LOVESHACK takes over @ysy.berlin in Friedrichshain for a night of dark desires and seductive synths.
Robert Yang aka @_bezier has been shaping queer dancefloors for over two decades — from his years as a core member of San Francisco’s Honey Soundsystem to underground clubs across the globe. Based in Berlin since 2018, Bézier has kept busy crafting live-wire dance music from rippling synths, crackling drums and a songwriter’s knack, releasing on his own imprint and beyond, and co-hosting underground events like @gentle.reminder.party at Paloma.
Alongside him, LOVESHACK host @charlieva.ux returns to set the mood and warm up the shack.
Adding an extra layer of tension, intimacy and ritual to the night is a live Shibari performance by @kat.shbri .

LOVESHACK is for those who believe in music as ritual.
For the queers, the nerds, and those who get it.
A moment to let go, to pulse together.
Come early. Leave fulfilled.

💕💕💕 COME, STEP INSIDE THE SHACK. 💕💕💕

@electroponce and @_bezier open June Gentle Reminder with low-end, bassy bottom sounds as incantations for a brighter outlook. Get submerged in their b2b set and we’ll see you soon when you surface at the next function. ✨

After a small Summer break Gentle Reminder is back in the act at @paloma_berlin this September.

Joining us on the lineup is our best pal @bouffantbouffant from New Orleans the brains, architect and designer of Gimme A Reason at Poor Boys and also a very special guest werking the dials of Walk the Night here in Berlin @aaguilaadj .

Adding fuel to the build up for our next batch of events we are getting support through project funding by Music Board through their Pop im Kiez program. Within the project scope we focus on this particular Kiez in Kreuzkölln — Kotti aka SO36, the historic postal code of this neighborhood in which ‘SO’ stands for Südost. Together we are making plans to give this little vertex a little TLC and support with cutting edge programming and tender moments.

✨✨✨

Find us at Paloma Sunday September 27th.

As we wind down our OTT final season 3 part retirement extravaganza, we beg you not to get too overtly hangry if we decide to throw one more Winter Ball into the circus ring.

We probably won’t so come you, please, to join us and our dear friend Bezier for our final of softest twirls.

It’s been a wild ride and an utter joy to have called the best queer bar of all time home for the past 16 years. We will miss El Rio, but you won’t because there are trillions of reasons every day to stop in buy a drink. Nevertheless, let’s give that glorious slice of concrete something to cry about. See you September 12th
