I used to hold on to unforgiveness like it was protecting me, but all it really did was keep me chained to pain that Jesus already paid for.

When I watched this scene from The Chosen where Jesus tells Peter to forgive 77 times 7, it hit different. Because I’ve been the one holding grudges. I’ve been the one who couldn’t let go. And I’ve also been the one praying someone would forgive me.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean what they did was okay. It means I’m finally ready to stop letting it control me. It’s not weakness, it’s power. It’s not forgetting, it’s freedom.

The moment I chose to forgive, God started healing parts of me I didn’t even know were broken.

This isn’t just a reaction video. It’s a reminder that real strength comes from mercy. Because if Jesus could forgive me, I can’t justify holding back forgiveness from anyone else.
