My solo exhibition opening is exactly one week away… Over 2 years spent working towards this date. So excited to share it with you all. My friends and family know I’ve always been one to put work first. And after two successful years of doing art fairs with @_blondcontemp we’re finally doing a 10 day solo in New York City. Hosted at 86 walker street in Tribeca. And selling two edition of 75 prints done with @brooklyneditions Grateful for this doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel. But more after the show is over :) till then, RSVP for opening night or share the word to friends in NY. They say you never stop working when you’re a creative. Anthesis — 2026 · acrylic paint on board · 150 × 150 cm

Anthesis is the botanical term for the moment when a flower comes into bloom — a point of opening, unfolding and full expression. That idea sits at the centre of this painting.

I’m interested in the tension between the more carefully painted, almost classical elements and the loose graphic lines that cut across them. The process is quite intuitive: I build up the imagery, interrupt it,responding to what happens on the surface until everything starts to hold together.

We’re delighted to share the full programme for the Renaissance-21 Festival 2026.

From 22 September to 22 October, the Festival unfolds across London iconic venues, bringing together artists, musicians, curators and thinkers through a programme of live music, contemporary art and public conversations.

At its heart is a conversation between heritage and the present — exploring how cultural memory can become a living source for new work, and what authorship, craftsmanship and human imagination mean in an age increasingly shaped by technology and AI.

Across its music programme, the Festival turns a spotlight on Britain’s rarely heard musical heritage, bringing remarkable and long-overlooked works back to the stage.

One of the paintings from Threshold, my solo exhibition at BLOND Contemporary in London.

I’ve been interested in the posed figure as something assembled rather than fixed: a body interrupted and re-formed through fragments, gestures and borrowed images. In this work, pieces of bodies, flowers and historical imagery overlap and shift, creating a figure that feels both recognisable and unstable.

The flowers aren’t simply decorative, and the historical references don’t sit in the background. They become part of the body’s construction, folding into it and pulling it apart. I wanted the composition to feel deliberately arranged—almost staged—while still allowing the image to remain open, strange and unresolved.

Threshold is on view until 3 October 2026.

Poise and the Dangerous Illusion

From Threshold, my first solo exhibition in London at BLOND Contemporary.

A familiar family portrait, gently unsettled. The figures’ composed poise contrasts with the shifting, fragmented imagery, inviting us to reflect on memory and the ways we see one another.

Bringing together photographic realism, painted illusion and graphic mark-making, the work moves between nostalgia and disruption.

Threshold is currently on view at BLOND Contemporary in London. I warmly invite you to visit the exhibition and spend time with the paintings in person.

This autumn, Renaissance-21 launches its inaugural London Festival, bringing together artists, musicians and cultural thinkers to explore how the rediscovery of the past can become a catalyst for new creative work.

Taking place from 22 September to 22 October, and unfolding through Frieze Week, the festival approaches heritage as a living creative force — from the rediscovery of overlooked British music to contemporary art and cultural thought exploring memory, authorship and our relationship with the past.

The programme brings together @chidi.co @dlgsheina @teodordore @noursalehs @abigailmillartodd @sonyapianist @holtagquartet (in assoc. @londoncityphilharmonic) across a multidisciplinary programme of music, art and conversation.

At its heart is a question: what can the past offer a culture searching for new ideas, meaning and direction?

Across the fair, artists and gallerists are sharing new bodies of work, ambitious debuts, and deeply personal practices 🫶

Visitors can experience museum-quality works by David Hockney presented by @_BlondContemp, JaqBelcher’s compositions inspired by sacred geometry and intended to share positive frequencies with the viewer at @iustitiafinearts, and the richly textured works at @MaybaumGallery that unfold with closer viewing.

At @MissingPieceArtGallery, @JennyWeldenArt’s striking freeform stitching technique rewards a closer look, while @WinstonWachter’s presentation features returning Aspen favorites, including Ethan Murrow.
