Grace is no excuse for carelessness. Grace is God's investment in us so we can labor more. Grace and diligence are not opposites. They work together.

Paul was intentional. He understood the grace of God as a currency: for dominion, for influence, for growth, for destiny. He received grace, and he added diligence to it. That is why his results speak loudly.

If David had not been diligent in keeping the sheep, and had not honed his skill long before he faced Goliath, what Goliath said he would do to David could have been the outcome. It takes diligence and expertise to know where to target.

Many of us are random in everything we are doing, and that shows we are deficient in diligence.

One of the missing variables in the equation of our success, of dominion, is diligence.

Talent is not enough. Resources are not enough. There is a variable many of us are missing - Diligence!

Why do I need to be diligent? Because diligence is a path to dominion and influence.

"Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men." Proverbs 22:29

Notice what the verse does not say. It does not say, "Seest thou a man talented?" or "connected?" or "resourceful?" Those things matter. But diligence must be added to the equation of success.

God is the constant factor.

Your gift is not the finish line. It is the raw material.

Diligence develops what is already in your hands.

A gift requires cultivation. Knowledge requires application. An opportunity requires preparation and follow-through.

As you study, practice, receive corrections, and apply what you learn, your capacity grows. You become better equipped to serve and to provide fruitful work.

The hidden season is the training ground. What you develop in private is what sustains you in public.

Trust is not built on a highlight. It is built on a pattern. "He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much." Luke 16:10

One excellent performance may get attention. Consistent delivery is what earns trust.

Diligence establishes your credibility, people need to know what they can expect from you.

And if people cannot trust you, forget about it. Even if they are still doing business with you, it may be because they have not found a substitute yet. The moment they find one, they end the contract.

You can be busy doing everything and still be outside of what God expects from you.

The first step to walking in diligence is foundational: know what has been entrusted to you.

Identify your specific responsibilities. Understand what they require. Then give them all it is going to take to scale.

Being everywhere is not the same as influence. Faithfulness to your own assignment is where capacity is built.

So know what has been entrusted to you, and build capacity based on that.
