long overdue but finally time for a little recap post of “There’s a 96 Party at AB” !!!

this was by far one of the most beautiful and eventful nights of my life. what a blessing and privilege to be able to co-host this event and learn in such a hands-on way, surrounded by so many talented people that helped made this night possible 🫂

thank you loadssss to the whole team at @ab.atnight, to everyone who performed during the night and worked behind the scenes, and AS ALWAYS to @96movement_ for providing us with opportunities like this. bringing people together through music is such a special and important thing, especially in times like these, and this night showed once again how it can be possible <33

Meet the artists performing at Onderstroom…

DJ and producer Bo Jane (she/her) translates the raw energy of the 90s UK rave scene - a cornerstone of her English roots - into a vital contemporary sound. Acknowledging that this movement was and still is being powered by the UK’s diverse population, her DJ sets are a conscious celebration of global influences. Based in Brussels, she focuses on how music shapes emotions and identities, weaving bass- heavy club music, (speed) garage, and international rhythms into her mixes. Her ultimate goal is to create connection on the dancefloor, inspiring people to lose themselves in the music and discover new sounds together.

Bo Jane brought a deeply personal and reflective selection to Overlap On Air, connecting musical roots, recent memories and forward-looking UK bass energy. These are the three tracks she picked as her favourites from the set:

Roska ft. Kristie Killick & Manga Saint Hilare – Kingdom Roska was one of the first electronic producers I came across when I started DJing, so his music always feels like coming home. He’s also one of the true pioneers of his genre, which is why I’ve always had a lot of respect for him.

Main Phase – Foot Switch This track became a bit of a common thread during the promotion of the last event I helped organise at AB Club, through my (now finished) residency with the collective 96. That period was filled with a lot of great and educational moments, so this tune always reminds me of that process and the intense final months of 2025.

Mia Koden – Come Again Mia Koden never misses!!! I absolutely love her entire discography, and it’s beautiful to see how she’s making a name for herself in the UK bass scene. I can’t wait to see her play live one day.
