I might be a little late with this post, but I finally had time to watch The Love Hypothesis movie this weekend! 🔬🥼🧪

I remember when I first read the book and fell in love with Ali Hazelwood’s writing. I’ve read so many of her books (don’t own all of them) and always have a great time reading them! ✨💕

I really liked this movie and it made me so happy! My husband also thought it was cute 😂

Bullet point book review! 📖 Loves of Our Lives by Josie Balka ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.75

Swipe to see what poems stood out to me the most (at least right now in life)

Liked:
• How the poems are separated by the types of love in your life (6 different kinds)
• Left a variety of things to ponder
• There were so many that made me feel seen and like I wasn’t alone
• Each poem was real and beautifully honest
• It felt like a celebration of all love we experience and all of its forms (flawed, fierce, fleeting, forever)

Disliked:
• Like any poetry, there are some that I couldn’t relate to

Just another cafe date with myself ☕️📖

Last week I stopped by the cafe near my work on my lunch break and couldn’t not get a scone, cookie and iced coffee 😂 I’ve been really in my head lately and needed to spend $13 to feel better 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bullet point book review! 📖 Daughter of Moloka’i by Alan Brennert ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Liked:
• Broke my heart in so many different ways, but was so beautiful
• A sequel I didn’t know I needed and wrapped up the story so well
• Going through decades in the characters lives. The hardest being the interment camps
• Learned a lot about Japanese and Hawaiian culture

Disliked:
• Felt slow paced and sometimes hard to keep reading
• At times it felt like the story got lost in the wordiness of details

Books and flowers 📚💐

Yesterday morning my husband and I had a date went to a flower field - the flower field happens to be the fields of our wedding florist 🥹 we do this as an annual tradition (3rd year now) and wander through her fields, cut some flowers, and catch up with her

Yesterday my husband surprised me with a free book from @indigo (Educated by Tara Westover) and he got me a book that has been on my want to buy Goodreads shelf (Variation by Rebecca Yarros) 🥹📚🫶🏻

Did you happen to snag one of the free books? Did you get what you were hoping for? (I was hoping for The Wager by David Grann, but happy my husband snagged one of the last 5 books! He said the line was huge)
