Peter J. Barone 11/28/39 ~ 05/21/26 🪽 The strongest man I know, my Pop Pop. Your strength never wavered in your last few days, and I’m forever grateful that I got to be there as you took your last breath. I hope you know how much all of us love you. But the truth is, no amount of time with someone you love is ever enough, and I’m so grateful for the 20 years I got with you. This is going to be the longest “see you later” I’ll ever have to endure, but how beautiful it is to love someone so much that you’d wait a lifetime to see them again. Pop Pop, you were the best grandpa a girl could ask for, because you were mine. I will cherish the memories I have with you - watching the Yankees, our sushi dates,Joey and I riding around in the back of the tractor, vacations, birthdays, and you and Nana teaching me how to swim in the pool. I love you, Pop Pop, forever and always. I’ll see you again one day. ❤️🕊️ by @_brandigilbert
