God’s design was never about my comfort. It was about my growth. The challenges I’ve faced in life have shaped me for His purpose for me. When I felt destruction it was reconstruction. When I felt paused, I was being protected. Every detour was a learning lesson for the life that God strategically created for me. Without going through, how do you get through? As blind as I feel about my future, I’ll walk in faith because I know what God can do! Becoming a mother was never on my bingo card, but God is doing a thing… I have to trust in Him. As I prepare to meet little miss Belinda this week, I pray that no self doubt or worry will creep into my spirit. I will lean into my confidence because God prepared me for this. NEW ME 🫶🏽

Mother’s Day… a bittersweet day for me. I used to really hate this day because of losing my mother at 2 years of age and being told years ago that I wouldn’t be able to have my own child. My mother passed away at 33 years old and here I am 34 years old, pregnant with my first baby. I’m still in disbelief most days, still processing the idea that God chose me to fulfill this motherly purpose. To my mother Belinda, I miss you and I love you. To my daughter Belinda, I can’t wait to meet you and I love you. Happy Mother’s Day to me 🥹🫶🏽🌸
