First and foremost I would like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for blessing me with the opportunity to continue glorifying Him through the game I love. Without Him none of this would be possible. I would also like to thank my family for the constant love, support, and sacrifices that they have made for me throughout my baseball journey. To my coaches and teammates, thank you for pushing me, believing in me, and helping me become the player and person I am today. I’m grateful for everyone who’s been part of this journey. With that being said, I am extremely blessed and excited to announce my commitment to further my academic and athletic career at Gadsden State Community College! Go Cardinals! #agtg #excel4life by @_brookssmith_

Thank you high school baseball and County High for the best year of baseball a kid could ever ask for. I can’t put into words how much this team and coaches mean to me. Thank you Jesus for the countless relationships I formed and for how faithful you’ve truly been to me. I am forever grateful for this year and for the group I got to do it with. 🔵⚪️ taken in Tuscaloosa Co HighSchool by @_brookssmith_

Tonight at 7:23pm I lost my best friend. The amount of joy you brought to my life is something I’ll never forget. You loved life no matter the pain you were in and to have been able to call you Pop truly made me feel special. You made it to every baseball game I had no matter how much pain you were in. To know now that your dancing with Jesus brings so many tears of joy to my eyes. The godly man you were truly motivated me each and every day to find joy even in the midst of pain and suffering. You were the best Pop a grandson like me could ever have. It brings me to tears writing this but to know you’re running with Jesus and doing everything you couldn’t do here allows me to let you go. I’ll see you later Pop. I love you forever Pop.🕊️🕊️🕊️ by @_brookssmith_
