I’ve been at my lowest these days.

A heavy heart, disappointments, loneliness, and sadness were slowly pulling me down. I almost gave in to those feelings. No motivation. No happiness. Just a feeling of being lost.

I was trying to escape it all by binge eating, having too much sugar, and scrolling and I was only getting further away from myself.

So I decided to put everything aside for a moment and sit with myself.

After a while I started crying.

Not because I was still at my lowest, but because, for the first time in a while, I stopped and looked at how far I had actually come.

I realized…
I have reached somewhere.
I’m not the same person I was when all of this began.

I remembered how hard my life once was.
Those days when I couldn’t even afford a proper meal.

I remembered that 18-year-old kid who had nothing but dreams.

That kid who followed his dreams even when life didn’t make it easy for him.

I remembered those hard days in Qatar, working as a junkyard cleaner at such a young age.

After that

The accident,
The losses.
My legs,
The things I had to let go of.
Eva.
Every phase of my life came with its own challenges.
Different places.
Different struggles.
Different versions of me.
And somehow, I kept going.
I faced all of it with a smile.
And sitting there, remembering everything, I realized something:
I love that younger version of me.
He was brave.
He had every reason to give up, but he didn’t.
And he is still here.
Still standing on those steel legs.
Still fighting for his dreams.
Still trying.
He hasn’t given up yet.
He is not afraid of failure.
And somehow, every single time life knocks him down, he comes back.
From that lowest point, I started to smile.
And I realized…I have everything that that i prayed for.
I have already reached somewhere i wanted to
And for that, I want to thank Allah and myself.
For not giving up on me.
For carrying me through every phase.
For surviving every version of life that came my way.
For still choosing to dream.

Slowly all my pain and disappointments went away…
Because I know, in another few years,
I’m coming back to read this with a smile.
Knowing that I have built everything
that I want right now❤

The tragedy of being an artist is having to create beauty from the very pain that's destroying you. The beauty is realizing that the creation often survives long after the pain is gone.
