Why do I love thrifting and buying vintage/used? The quality of clothing is not what it used to be, and styles are becoming recycled and repetitive. I love finding items that have personality, unique flair and reduce our carbon footprint.

This Saturday 7/25, the city of @dearborn will be hosting @redbullracing Showrun, a Formula 1 experience presented by @fordracing for an epic one-day event.

Before or after your Motorsport adventure, stop in to @littlemamasvintage for classic @ford memorabilia, racing & sports collectibles, and unique vintage apparel.

6-10pm, back patio. Music, refreshments, sunshine and amazing vendors!

Sunday June 14: @27thletterbooks
12-6pm, patio and downstairs. Lots of vendors, birthday celebration fun, interactive activities, music, snacks and sunshine!

Sunday June 28: @voguevintage
9am-5pm. Outside patio. TONS of amazing Vintage and Antiques! Home decor, furniture, jewelry, apparel, and more!

Weekend recap! 🌀

Vintage shop day at @littlemamasvintage with @littlehoneydippy @bodyelectricvintage @e3refillery @wagonwhisked @sewcial_anxiety @bakelite.betty .

Indian village garage sale and @kerchmarket with lots of ☀️, flowers 🌸 blooming and @nourish.ramen 🍜

Ending with a little treat for @movementdetroit weekend! Custom made- Raver Essentials BROOCH! Handmade by me including 2 drink covers, mini disco light ball, bubbles 🫧 and a personal name charm for my “winks” 😉.

Brushwork has been busy creating fun accessories. Will share more soon!

“I was thinking enamel…” Not groundbreaking. Embellishments (for Spring) are at the core of my love for styling!
I have been re-working in my home studio, creating everything I can, with what I already have.

Not a genius creation (stole some ideas from the internet) but one that has been burning a hole in my pocket.

TOMORROW! 2/21

MI FASHION WEEK Sustainable Fashion Runway Show!
Tomorrow at 7pm @theeditdet @mifashionweek will be hosting a one-of-a-kind immersive fashion experience!

•The night will begin with a visual display of sustainable wearable art. Local designers, curators and stylists are coming together to share their vision and creative talent.
•BONUS! After the runway show, you will have an exclusive opportunity to purchase items right from the runway! (This marketplace is a free event from 10pm-12am)

I am so excited to be participating in this event! It has reignited my passion for styling and allowed me to create from my own vision. The looks in this show were all assembled with items I previously sourced, with a few additions from my personal collection. I wanted to remain as sustainable as possible and only utilize what I already had on hand.

I hope to see you there, and look forward to sharing my sustainable ensembles with DETROIT!
