Thank you @tobaccoroadgolf @_buckgolf @carolinagolfguys and @vinnie_6ix for an unbelievable day. It was the hardest course I’ve ever played. Without a doubt. That statement mainly applies to the approach shots and greens IMO. Tee shots are visually stunning and mostly wide open like (True Blue) @caledoniatruebluegolf in Pawleys. Diabolical green complexes. Tons of terrain changes and you take a beating walking up and down everything. At least at my age you do. 👴🏼But it’s the most fun, most interesting, and mind-numbing course I’ve ever played as well. I loved it! Mind-numbing in that you have to think hard about every single shot. After 18 I was mentally exhausted in a good way. There are very few holes that aren’t risk/reward. You can shoot super low if you are rewarded (lucky or skilled) and super high if you’re not. 😅 I had a 9 on one Par 4. Still shot an 86 as a 6.8 hcp (GHIN adjusted to an 84) from the back tees (Ripper). Hardest 6,557 yards I’ve ever played. Everything along the Grand Strand should be easy now right? 😂 Can’t wait for another shot. Cheers, #mikestrantz 🍻 taken in Tobacco Road Golf Club by @_buckgolf

Well, I finally won.

I want to say a big thank you to everyone who came out last night and to anyone who has ever supported me doing stand up. 17 years ago I stepped on a stage for the first time at the Comedy Cabana. A couple friends from Coastal came out to see me. When I moved back to NoVa, my friends from the sandbox drove me to my second show at Wiseacres in Tysons. My childhood best friends showed up for me at The Comedy Spot in the Ballston Mall. A fraternity I was not even a brother of packed out Listrani’s when I would do big summer shows. I eventually ran my own open mic at Red Hot and Blue and even more friends came out. My family came to see me at the DC Improv. Coworkers and people who felt like family came to see me in Dupont Circle.

These past four years in Myrtle Beach, I have been blessed with an amazing group of friends who have supported me no matter how many times they have heard the same jokes.

All of you have made me feel loved and seen in a way I will never forget.
Thank you. by @_buckgolf
