Understanding when the colors fit the right mood

𝙣𝙚𝙤𝙣 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣
the light casted from a nearby shop at midnight that's about to open, it reveals the artists' personas like a glimpse into the future that awaits them, the next chapter, the upcoming tour ⚡️

𝙗𝙡𝙪𝙚
is the mid tone between the extremes, a moment of balance, reflection and clarity before it falls into either light or shadow, a moment of presence

𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖
echoes of the past, the details are no longer fully visible, but their presence still contours the artists themselves

the palette, like music, creates a sense of both tension and excitement @nervy_official

The studio of one of Sweden's most powerful musicians. It was as if everything was at its place, like it has always been, yet one person was missing.

People were wondering around the rooms, they stopped to listen, to read and immerse themselves in the world through the artist's eyes, through documentaries, clips, songs that never made it and jamming sessions that would make you feel like you were there, at the other side of the story.

The rooms were filled with keyboards, guitars, record setups, awards, and lots of stories.

It was beautiful

smol behind the process

Before I started working on the previous video I drew a storyboard. It didn't work as a final draft, as changes were made through the process of editing.

New ideas, new frames.

So I decided to redraw it for a more clearer perspective.

Now it looks better.
And it works.

So here's a smol timelapse of me working!
Thanks for stopping by!

Using the @gaomonpentablet drawing tablet!

Edited in @adobecreativecloud 's Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects.

The part that really matters is something we never plan..

More often than not we are stuck in the safe zone, trying to move forward yet nothing changes. Making that 5 am routine only to find that it’s not our thing. Creating the perfect week schedule yet we can’t get through Monday.

We ask ourselves what do we want out of life.

And we make a plan.

The good plan. The happy-and-romantic plan. We fantasize about the end, yet skip the present.

And after a day, a week, a month, we see it’s not working, we hate it, it’s too much.

It’s not what we wanted.

We wished the reward and not the process.

But victory requires struggle.

It requires the uncertainties, the boring courses, the endless meetings, being stuck, getting home late.. the willingness to struggle.

Once we decide what pain we’re willing to endure, things start to get real. Our efforts take shape, and we realize we’re at the beginning of something truly great.

So, what are you willing to struggle for?

A great book is the one that every time you open has something new to tell you. For me that’s Mark Manson's book, the one you have undoubtedly noticed on the shelves before :)) 🧡
