The end of an era...
I’m a pretty sentimental person, so I guess it’s time for some sentiments. The past four years have been a rollercoaster. Ive lost friends, ive made friends, ive been the happiest ive ever been, and the saddest ive ever been. Not much has been consistent. In fact, it seems that the one thing that has stayed consistent, is that very lack of consistency. I think most will agree that if nothing else, high school was a period of growth and change. If freshman Caden met me today, i genuinely dont know if i would recognize myself. But thats not a bad thing at all. Life is all about change. If humans were stagnant, we wouldnt last very long. Instead, we live, we learn, and we grow. We 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆. But that growth wouldnt be possible without you all. Each and every interaction that ive had over the past four years has made me the person that i am today. Every person ive met, had a class with, shared lunch with, called a friend, or called an enemy, has unwittingly changed me — even if it was just barely. So thank you all for that.
As we experience what will likely be the most significant change in our lives up to this point, my advice — should you choose to accept it — is never to fear change. Embrace it. Its what makes us who we are.
I hope you all know that my dm’s are always open if you want to talk or stay in touch, and my snap is cadenw_22 for those that dont have it.
