6 years later, these are finally going up for sale. My good friends at @h_e_c_h_i_z_a will be helping sell a portion of the edition at their booth in the @hardcore.artbookfair in CDMX today 7/30 through Sunday 8/2. Please go and visit if you’re around and able.
•
My ode to México. Inspired by fruitful experiences growing up along the border, living in Mexico City many years ago, and various other travels within the country since childhood. In addition to its culture, people, and food, the typography and color palettes of Mexico are forever inspirational. Swipe for some behind the scenes of the printing and a few that have found homes with friends over the years. My favorite detail is the accents of the E’s become the legs of the X’s. Font is an original commission with @typesupply that I’ve customized.

Edition of 50. 6-color serigraph, 29x 36 in.(74 x 92 cm) on 300lb Canson paper. Printed with the best, @taller75grados in Mexico City in Feb 2020, a month before the world shut down.
•
Unfortunately, at this time they are only available at this fair. There will be two prices, one for Mexicans. After the fair we will reassess any remaining inventory and potential for additional future sales. Please DM for more info. by @_calebbennett

Thanks to the design team for exploring some good ol’ handwriting in addition to a bit of my own to polish off the tag-inspired design system. cc: @annie76828 @bengrandgenett. Thanks @a2_type for your ongoing type support! Full issue in last slide.
