Basketball has been one of the biggest parts of my life for the past 10 years and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without it. This season didn’t end the way I wanted it to and I am disappointed in that, but I don’t regret a minute my decision to end my high school career here. I’ve learned an insane amount this year than I have over any other season under any other coach or with any other players. Not just as a basketball player but as a person a leader and a man. I’m truly thankful to this team and my brothers for giving me this season to end on and I will never not look back at this and not be happy at what we did. Thank you to everyone who supported me and stuck with me on my journey. This chapter may be closed but another book is opening, not finished yet 🦁➡️🐯 by @_calebchackochan_

My basketball journey has been such an up and down experience throughout these past few years. I never thought i’d end up back at KCE but I’m forever grateful to end my highschool career here. There’s so much I can say about my journey in basketball and how I almost quit the sport because I thought i’d never play basketball at the next level. But I’m so grateful to God that he put the drive in me to not give up and keep pursuing my biggest passion. So many people told me to stop trying and give up because it wasn’t a realistic dream to chase but I stuck with it for years because I knew I was playing this sport for a reason. I’d like to thank my parents for supporting me regardless of what people said or the short comings and adversity I faced, I’d like to thank my trainer/recruiter Coach Tyrone walker for believing in my talent and skills and helping me be at the level to compete as a college athlete, I’d like to thank my trainer Gunnar Person for helping me in my journey and training me to be able to play college ball as an undersized guard, I’d like to thank my closest friends Tate and Japheth for putting in hours of work with me and pushing me to be the best player I could be, but above all things i’d like to thank the Lord for having a plan for me, putting this dream in my head and motivating me to chase something so impossible to show me in my own faith that anything is truly possible with him on my side. I’m beyond grateful to Coach Nick Berkey and Jackson Rotert for believing in me and seeing my potential as an athlete and i’m so insanely excited to continue to play the sport I love. #ᴀɢᴛɢ #tigertough #gotigers by @_calebchackochan_
