One last post to round out this summer trip before school starts! The other stops we docked at were Naples, Italy (slides 1-10) and Kuşadasi, Türkiye (slides 11-20).

• In Naples, we got to see the ruins of Pompeii (slides 1-6) where the entire village was wiped out when the nearby Mount Vesuvius Erupted. We also got to see the beautiful island of Capri (slides 7-10), which used to be a vacation destination for Roman Emperors and is now one for celebrities (we missed LeBron by a few days 😢).
• In Kuşadasi, we saw the ruins of Ephesus (slides 11-16), Which was an Ancient Greek and Roman port city, but it is also where the Apostle Paul preached and there was a massive amphitheater in the hillside. After that we stopped at the house where the Virgin Mary is presumed to have lived out her final years (slides 17-20). by @_carson.gz

Greece appreciation post 🇬🇷
Two of our stops on the cruise included Santorini and Mykonos in Greece and I have to say that without a doubt Greece is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen, and there are so many cats 🐈

• Santorini (slides 1-8) has black sand beaches and very pristine white buildings. Everything seemed so clean and tidy with a pretty white and blue color scheme everywhere
• When we stopped at Mykonos, me and my dad toured the nearby island of Delos (slides 9-20), where we toured ruins and hiked to the top of Mount Cynthus, which was probably my favorite thing that we did. Delos is the mythological birthplace of the twin gods Apollo and Artemis and it was so sacred to the Ancient Greeks that during the Greco-Persian War, the Persians declared it off limits to attacks for fear of angering the Greek gods. Delos became a tax-free port and became home to such a large and diverse population, which included Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians, all on this little island. They even built a temple dedicated to the Egyptian goddess, Isis, which I took a picture by (slide 18). taken in Greece, Ελλάδα by @_carson.gz

Andiamo! Got to go to Italy for a cruise a few weeks ago and saw some amazing things in Rome before we boarded the ship!! This was the most memorable trip I’ve ever been on and it was amazing to experience other cultures. Stay tuned, more photos to come!

• Slides 1-10: We saw all around the Roman Forum and the Coliseum, where the ground of Ancient Rome is still exposed compared to most of the city which is built up higher.

BILLIE CONCERT‼️❤️‍🔥
Had one of the most life-changing experiences seeing her

-The intro was so suspenseful and had my adrenaline racing
-It was amazing to hear the whole audience singing the backing vocals for her when she sang Wildflower
-Her harmony for When The Party’s Over was otherworldly and was one of my favorite parts of the night
-The Greatest was THE GREATEST
-Did not expect the transition from Bittersuite to Bury a Friend but the surprise was amazing
-So sad I didn’t get to record L’amour de ma Vie/Over Now (Kylee’s phone and mine were both dead) but that was also one of my favorite parts of the concert taken in BOK Center by @_carson.gz

From “I’m finally a senior” to “I’m finally graduated” this year has been anything but mundane. I have a strong belief that anything that happens to me, good or bad, happens for a reason and it happens in order to make me into the person God wants me to be. I am so proud of everyone I got to clap for at graduation and I will miss seeing all of their faces. I am thankful for the friends and memories I have made along my journey here at Oologah as well as the teachers who have helped me grow into the person I am now. I could not have done this without my family and friends here to support me. I am so excited to see what the future has in store for me now! Pt. 2 coming soon by @_carson.gz
