Not the most exciting photo in the world. BUT just to remind you that Lambeth's Care Experienced Children and Young People/Adults are eligible for FREE Gym and Leisure access passes to All Lambeth Active Leisure Centres in the borough.

You can get a Free Gym pass by asking your PA or Social Worker or by contacting EFarodoye@lambeth.gov.uk or messaging 07541 645 376

Also contact the same to join our Young People’s "Gym and Fitness Journey" WhatsApp chat group - where you can connect. Get support share your challenges or gains and also find out about getting access to other Gyms across the UK as a Care Experienced Young Person

We’ve got exciting news with AA who’s just joined us on board the Care Leavers Covenant. They’ve committed to supporting care leavers to become safe & competent drivers on the roads.

Found in the app store, AA’s Driving Theory Test App originally priced at £4.99, is now available exclusively for care leavers to download and access for FREE.

This is a great initiative to encourage you as young people to take the first steps to obtaining your Drivers License - Providing a super user-friendly interface, easy to navigate and a database of information covering essential topics to guide you successfully through the DVLA Theory Test.

Information on how to access this offer can be found below:

You will need to confirm that you are a care leaver by signing up to Connects and selecting ‘I’m interested in FREE access to the AA Driving Theory Test app.’
Connects Sign-up – Care Leaver Covenant (mycovenant.org.uk)
• Once verification is completed, an individual access code will be issued.

The Criteria for Young Person to be eligible is as follows MUST be:
• Age 17 – 30
• Lives in LAMBETH
• NOT in Education, Employment or Training
• MOTIVATED & READY TO ENGAGE

Deadline for applications is Friday 22nd March 2024 at 12pm.

Informal interviews will commence week beginning Monday 1st April 2024.
