Hi, I’m Chanell, and welcome to Chanell Living! 🤎

I created this space to share my love for blending approachable DIY projects with elevated, luxurious design.

My journey into interior design began in our starter home. I spent years transforming our house into a home through countless DIY projects and somewhere along the way, I discovered a true passion for creating beautiful, affordable spaces.

Over time, I became more immersed in the world of luxury real estate. Touring model homes, exploring thoughtfully staged spaces, and noticing every carefully chosen detail continued to inspire and deepen my love for design.

Now, we’re living in our dream home, and as I transform each space, I want to share our journey throughout the entire process from DIY projects and design inspiration to the final reveal.

A little DIY with a touch of luxury for my daughter’s nursery. 🎀

I wanted to create a space that was fun and playful but still had a timeless, elegant feel.

My husband (aka my personal contractor) installed the wall molding and we painted the accent wall.

Since my daughter’s name is Willow, I wanted to incorporate a tree into the design. I decided on a Japanese cherry blossom tree to add a soft touch of pink while keeping the room elegant and feminine. 🌸

My little girl is also a bookworm, so we installed the floating bookshelves ourselves to create a cute space for all her favorite books. 📚🤍

And if you’re wondering why the star of the room isn’t in this video, it was nap time! And we all know the number one rule: NEVER wake a sleeping toddler!

10 months postpartum. First CrossFit competition. Podium finish. 🥉💪🏾

Going into this competition, I knew I had to LOCK IN. I had work to do to get my body competition ready, and I knew it wouldn’t be easy.

At times, I felt like I was starting at a disadvantage. I had a baby just 10 months ago, on top of being a mom to a 2-year-old and a 7-year-old. But more than anything, I wanted to prove something to myself that I could do it.

And I DID.

With the help of my beautiful teammates, we stepped onto that competition floor, gave it everything we had, and walked away with 3rd place!

🥂Happy 3 years of marriage to us!🥂
This year hits different. Not only are we celebrating our love, but also a major milestone as my husband stepped into ownership and opened his real estate brokerage. I’m proud to stand beside him not just as his wife, but as his friend, business partner, and right hand. Building something together from the ground up is a blessing I don’t take lightly.

Life has transformed so much over the years. From a one-bedroom, 800 sq ft apartment to our dream home, and from one to three beautiful children in what feels like no time.

Through every season, we’ve chosen to grow together and choose us every single day. God I thank you! 🙏🏾

2022 vs 2026. ME vs ME.
3 months postpartum after 3 babies 🤍

Down 20 pounds and it honestly felt like starting over from scratch. Weak days. Humbling lifts. Learning my body all over again. But now? I’m stronger than I was before. Not chasing a bounce back, building a beast.
