A few days in Positano was just what was needed. We arrived Saturday and have enjoyed lots of wine, pizza, gelato and Aperol spritzes, natch. Monday we ventured over to @arienzobeachclub for one of the most enjoyable days ever. This place is not to be missed! Everything was top notch and the privacy of the beach away from the buzz of the main beaches of Positano was the perfect escape. Tomorrow we head to Florence, and I cannot wait!!

1 month. 3 weeks. 6 days. That’s how long we have until we jet off to Italy for 10 days! Travel planning for me typically involves finding local spots, fun small group tours and outfits for all occasions. But, this is 2021 and we are still very much in the midst of a pandemic, so travel planning looks a bit different these days.

What documents do I need to fill out? Do I need to carry my vaccination card? How far in advance do I need to get a test to re-enter the US? In September I will celebrate the fourth anniversary of my company (eeee!!!), and one of the best parts of being on my own has been working from home this whole time.

Which is why I have thought about taking this remote work style to a whole other level. I mentioned to a friend today that I have been thinking for some time about working remotely for a few weeks to a month next spring - in Paris!

I’ve always wanted to spend an extended stay in the city of lights and be more than a casual tourist hitting the main spots.

How soon is too soon to talk about our plans for returning to Italy?! It’s been quiet over here, but so has travel in general.

Now that Italy is opening back up - and even better, getting more people vaccinated! - we can’t wait to get back and explore our favorite places.

Ventured out... to Indiana. Found a fabulous little newish spot on the Purdue campus that serves phenomenal cocktails and yummy bites, and has an exceptional team that knows what’s what.

Quick, everyone post photos from Dublin! Okay, I’m in! The highlight of this quick stop in Dublin was of course visiting the Guinness St James’s Gate Brewery. We were lucky to book the concierge tour and it was exceptional! One of the most fun days I can remember having!
